- Learn to use Sketchup!
- You may never need a pencil and paper to design woodworking projects after this seminar. The evening will start with SketchUp basics to get us all started. It will also include Q&A from the participants to delve deeper into functionality aimed at improving the skills of more experienced SketchUp users. SketchUp is a free download from Google.
- Instructor Zack Mertz graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Architecture and a minor in Landscape Architecture. After graduating, Zack joined @Last Software where he became the lead trainer and modeler in SketchUp. After 5 years Zack joined concept3D and since 2006 has led training for all modelers and is responsible for the quality standard set by concept3D. Zack also oversees all large production efforts, including Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Boston University and others. Zack is considered one of the world's top Google Earth and SketchUp modelers.
